Your past experience and qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Experience with some of the technologies we use (or reasonable facsimiles thereof; we’re open-minded): Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Django, Three.js, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Azure.
• Able to learn new software and technologies quickly

Orbital Stack is a growing tech start-up that is taking RWDI’s world-leading expertise in climate-focused design analysis and turning it into software for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
Our software helps architects and engineers design livable, climate-savvy buildings that leverage the local climate to their advantage rather than suffer at its mercy, creating spaces where people love to spend time. We are doing this by delivering high fidelity simulations and intuitive visualizations to customers directly in the AEC industry as well as through the consulting services of RWDI.
With our unique startup model, we are already delivering projects and generating revenue. A spin-off of RWDI with strong ties to its expert scientists, we are also well supported by the RWDI Ventures team. We are looking for smart and enthusiastic teammates to help us build exciting tools that combine leading engineering technology with high-performance computing and the best in web-based 3D visualizations. We are seeking a Junior Software Developer. The candidate must reside in Brazil. Basic level of ENGLISH is a mandatory requirement for this role.

In your role, you will:
• Design, build, and test software features to help build Orbital Stack into an even better product
• Participate in product design, technical whiteboarding sessions, prototyping & validating, and shipping production software
• Contribute to a wide variety of different challenges, including web application development, cloud automation for high performance computing tasks, building automation tasks involving 3D CAD models and 3D visual output, and creating state of the art scientific code involving climate models, CFD, and machine learning.
